Eric spent the first hour and a half casting at 5-15lb rolling tarpon but was unable to pull tight on one. It was not from a lack of effort and it was not from a lack of good casts. He made solid casts on fish but they were not particularly hungry. While casting at the rollers he was able to come tight on a nice trout though. Afterwards we moved out to the mangrove lines along the river where we spotted around 30 snook. A few cases were of schools of 5-6 fish which was good to see. Eric experienced the picky and frustrating fishery of snook but it was nice to see a good amount of fish laid up in the river again.
